QuizUp is a free to play quiz game that is almost exclusively played online. Each round you’ll be challenged (or challenge) an online opponent in a category of your choice. The game contains a ton of categories covering everything from science to pop culture, video games to music, and everything between. You can also make friends, challenge friends, and keep track of your rank in each category to see how well you do.
